Dinosaur World
If you are feeling sad because you were born too late to experience the Jurassic or the Cretaceous, there is still a tiny piece of this wonderful time preserved in Plant City. Dinosaur World is a place where all ages can frolic among life-size dinosaur replicas, including tyrannosaurs, crested hadrosaurs, ankylosaurs, ceratopids, and brachiosaurs in a natural, tree-filled setting.
Unlike in the real Cretaceous, there is also a playground complete with swings and slides. Indoors are the animatronic displays, the paleontology lectures, and the gift shop. You can also sift sand for tiny fossil finds. So…it’s even better than the real thing. Also, you won’t get eaten.
Dogs are welcome and every effort is made to make the place autism-friendly.
